The Witch of Coos by Robert Frost

This one-act play is taken from Frost’s collection entitled “New Hampshire”. In his poetic language, a mother and son tell their visitor the story of the bones in the attic. Whose bones are they?

Train to Crystal City by Jeanne Beckwith

Written by local Vermont playwright, Jeanne Beckwith, this is the story of two young strangers, waiting for a train to the City. The train is late and they start a conversation that may change their lives – or at least their perception of the world.

This play has only been done over Zoom during the Pandemic. We are so excited to fully stage this amazing story!

Removing the Glove by Clarence Coo
is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French Inc. www.concordtheatricals.com

Young Will has admitted that he is left-handed. How can he tell this to his family? His friends? Afraid of repercussions, he's hid this sordid fact about himself for years.

This show was written by a high school student 30 years ago, and the discrimination that the main character faces is still happening today. May we someday live in a world where “removing the glove” is not something people need to live in fear about.

Perfect Arrangement - 2024

Director: Catie Smith
Stage Manager: Margie Cain
Producer: Mike Smith

A description of the play from Concord Theatricals: It’s 1950, and new colors are being added to the Red Scare. Two U.S. State Department employees, Bob and Norma, have been tasked with identifying sexual deviants within their ranks. There’s just one problem: Both Bob and Norma are gay, and have married each other’s partners as a carefully constructed cover. Inspired by the true story of the earliest stirrings of the American gay rights movement, madcap classic sitcom-style laughs give way to provocative drama as two “All-American” couples are forced to stare down the closet door.
